French Sarreguemines Faience Plates set Set of 12 "La Vie Militaire". Set of antique look Sarreguemines plates featuring exquisite black and white lattice and foliate borders, complete with military profile medallions and flags. The central scenes are figural and feature captivating military-themed depictions with titles or inscriptions. Each plate beautifully showcases soldiers at attention and on horseback, offering a glimpse into historic military life history. French plates illustrating the various life in the French military in the 19th century under Napoleon Bonaparte reign. Set of 12 French Military Sarreguemines "La Vie Militaire" Ceramic Plates. 6 different design with each one showing different pictures, 2 of each with the same design. Each black and white ceramic plate has French writing narrating the design on the plate. This is a set of 12 Sarreguemines "La Vie Militare" black and white transferware plates. Black transfer printed on white French Sarreguemines cabinet military theme figural scenes plates. Crafted by Sarreguemines France, each ceramic plate features a different regiment, each plate is further embellished with floral decor blason of the regiment and text in french describing each picture. These plates would make a wonderful addition to a wall, or they could be used to serve cheese or dessert to entertain your guests. Use this elegant French ceramic plates to serve appetizer or dessert to your guests! Dimensions: 7.5" diameter. In great condition, there is one plate that has one crack, see pictures. Made in Sarreguemines France. The back of each plate is stamped with a black maker’s mark, including a replica of the border medallion and flag, and reads "Sarreguemines, France."
