About the Item

This set of twelve dinner plates were made by the well known Wedgewood factory of England in approximately 1900 in a Victorian style. The plates are composed of porcelain with a white ground with very ornately hand-painted bouquets of Spring flowers and accented with heavy gilt decoration. The pedestal bases of the plates are also banded in gilt and each plate is clearly stamped with a brown maker's mark for Wedgesood.
