About the Item

From Wedgwood, a delightful set of six majolica glazed Fruit Dishes, in the Strawberry pattern, date marked 1880. On the Argenta white ground, a wide rim of twining strawberry plants, showing both the leaves and berries, encircle a dove - gray fan pattern center. A small deep dish, perfect for serving berries at breakfast or at the end of a larger meal. 6.75 in. Diameter x 1.25 in. Deep. Marked: Impressed Wedgwood, the red oxide painter and pattern number, along with the date code HMI – the I for the year 1880. So nice to have a set of six in excellent antique condition. All six dishes are very clean.
