About the Item
A large decorative ginger jar vase from the 1980s, crafted from brass cloisonné hand-painted in a chinoiserie style.
The jar features a domed lid, its surface has been decorated over the original brass with flowers in terracotta colours characteristic of chinoiserie influences which are rendered in soft, pastel beige, cream and brown tones on the background. The paint has aged at certain points giving it a vintage, slightly antique appeal.
The vase is a perfect decorative item for any interiors, either for a large coffee table, sideboard or a console table. Easy to style it next to ther pieces giving the interior a character.
