A fine antique 18th century pewter
glass beer stein.
In the form of a glass stein mounted with a pewter lid and pewter foot rim.
Monogrammed to the lid for "I.N." with an engraved "1796" below it.
Simply a great piece of antique Continental glass!
Date:
1796 or 1798
Overall Condition:
It is in overall good, as-pictured, used estate condition with no chips, cracks, or repairs.
Condition Details:
There is some haze/accretions to the bottom of the stein, and minor imperfections throughout the glass. There is some fritting to the handle. Otherwise, there are some fine
light surface scratches and other signs of expected light wear consistent with age.
