Large antique dome or globe with original black wooden base, the glass is mouth-blown, the dome dates from the beginning of the 20th century or earlier. A fragile and delicate object, authentic handmade glass with small air bubbles and imperfections, the fine glass dome is not perfectly symmetrical, but that gives the object character and shows that it is not machine-made, glassblowing is a lost craft, hand-blown glass products have a level of quality, uniqueness and craftsmanship that sets them apart. Beautiful object to display a special object, a rare or fragile figurine, a flower arrangement, taxidermy, the possibilities are numerous! This dome with base is in very good antique condition, no cracks or breaks, some superficial scratches but nothing disturbing, check the photos for more details! Dimensions: 17.5cm diameter, 46cm total height, 42cm high without wooden base. Weight: 1.187kg.
