About the Item
A rare antique Italian façon de Venise four handled art glass pedestal vase standing raised on a rounded foot with narrow stem, rounded body and tall slender neck the upper section with glass coiling. The body of the vase has white and aventrine twisted ribbon work vertically running down the body of the vase and also to the slightly domed foot.
The vase has four ornate handles applied around the upper body and is probably made by Salviati and is based on the revival of glass made in Venice in the 16th/17th Centuries.
