About the Item

A fine antique small scale tantalus. Meant as a travel liquor or perfume tantalus. With square cut glass decanters or bottles in a silverplate-mounted oak frame. Retains a functional lock and key mechanism. Simply a wonderful small-scale tantalus! Date: Late 19th or Early 20th Century Overall Condition: It is in overall good, as-pictured, used estate condition. Condition Details: The bottles has a few small chips and flakes throughout (particularly noticed on the feet and rims.) There are some losses the edges of the stand's base, some edge wear throughout, and wear to the plating on the silver-plated mounts. Otherwise, there is some light edge wear, some fine light surface scratches and other signs of expected light wear consistent with age. Marks: Unmarked Measurements: Width: ca. 6 5/8 in.
