About the Item

A fine pair of Murano Venetian revival art glass champagne glasses by Antonio Salviati and dating from the early 20th century. The glasses stand on a slightly domed rounded foot with a hollow blown knop stem and with a wide open tapering bowl. The glasses are made in blue and turquoise colored glass respectively and both have gold aventurine inclusions running through the glass. Both have snapped pontil marks to the base and neither is marked. In good condition with a tiny chip to the underside of the rim of the turquoise glass. From a collection of Venetian Revival glass.
