About the Item

Rather unusual as we've not come across one of these before from this style is this Cheese/ butter dish but could be used for other foods to preserve such as cake. A large domed cover in cut glass covers a circular plate underneath. The whole piece is in a good size and perfect for modern say use should you so wish. The design is very much in the spirit of Karl Palda, known for his stylized etched detailing of foliage to glass enamel. Condition is very good and as best as one could expect from a vintage piece, it's obviously not be used much if at all and so all enamel work and glass is in excellent condition.
