About the Item
Originating from Czech republic this Art Deco vase not only visually looks stunning with it's very distinctive green / yellow colouring with jet black enamel accents but is a great size standing just over 23 cm. The glass is extremely thick and therefore the vase itself is deceptively heavy.
The most common color of uranium glass is pale yellowish-green, which in the 1930s led to the nickname "Vaseline glass" based on a perceived resemblance to the appearance (which was a yellow-green colour) of Vaseline brand petroleum jelly as formulated and commercially sold at that time. This vase definitely won't disappoint, we defy the new owner not to fall in love it. Condition is excellent, can't find any damage or flaws to note.
