The set includes a clear glass decanter by Kaj Franck, featuring its original vibrant blue stopper, accompanied by six colorful liqueur glasses, model 1125, designed by Saara Hopea. Exemplifying the perfect harmony between the designers' complementary styles, the set is defined by its simple, elegant, and colorful character. Each liqueur glass stands 9.5 cm high. The set is in good condition with no flaws. Kaj Franck (1911–1989), the artistic director of Arabia ceramics, was a pioneering figure in Finnish design and a champion of sustainable practices. He is celebrated as one of the most influential designers in Finland between 1940 and 1980, a legacy honored by the prestigious Kaj Franck Design Award. Saara Hopea (1925–1984) was a celebrated glass designer, a key figure in mid-20th-century Scandinavian design. Working for Nuutajärvi Glassworks and Iittala, she was renowned for creations that combined functional simplicity with delicate beauty, often featuring organic forms and subtle textures. Her work, including the iconic "Harlekiiini" series, remains highly collectible for its enduring elegance and contribution to Nordic design heritage.
