Decorative Stem Glass in Amber Murano Glass with Gold Leaf Italy Venice 1970s.
Entirely handcrafted of blown glass and gold leaf in the 1970s, this elegant stem glass comes from Murano, the Venetian island dedicated to the production of blown glass since generations, and is attributed to one of the most famous Venetian masters of blown glassware, that’s to say Maestro Tosi, also nicknamed "Caramea", mostly known for his production of stem glasses and carafes.
This stem glass consists of a bowl and a base in light amber Murano glass, while the stem, characterized by a soft and richly detailed silhouette that recalls the art-nouveau style, is made of clear glass enriched with gold leaf in the central sphere, which gives it a bright gold hue. Along stem interpose rounded joints made of darker amber glass, which harmonize perfectly with the rest of the stem glass and add a touch of light to the whole. Sober and classy, this stem glass will bring to your house the elegance of the best Italian craftsmanship, handed down from generation to generation.
