About the Item

Emille Galle (1846-1904). Émile Gallé was a French glass maker and furniture designer, who had his home in his native Nancy. His favourite topic, which he frequently used in his work, was the plant. He also used many insect motives. The glass is single or multicolored decorated with ornate nature motifs. Valued by Arianne Massez (expert porcelain and ceramics) for a Belgian television program Richer than you think. Arianne Massez is an art historian, professor and legal expert. She is a recognized expert with a specialization area European ceramics, Asian art, Chinese and Japanese porcelain and glassware. Ariane advises museums and auction houses. She is a much sought after expert by insurance companies and private collectors, has a profound scientific knowledge and wide experience in the art and antiques world.
