About the Item
A beautiful round Italian Murano red and white art glass bowl or ashtray, Mid-Century Modern period, circa mid-20th century, Italy, 1960s. Bowl is white and red Murano art glass with three indents around top. The white and red glass is called 'incamicato'; a technique where two layers of glass are combined. In this case, the white outer glass layer and the inside red glass layer. Red is a beautiful vibrant hue as shown in images and video. Very good condition with no chips noted.
