About the Item

Well documented Ferdinand Von Poschinger Red hand pulled and feathered over true black (hyalith) small vase -in a classical gourd like Jugendstil shape with regular folds making a three sided neck opening. the vase has a beautiful original faint iridisation. This pattern is documented in the Poschinger book Ferdinand Von Poschinger was one of Germany's most successful Glass houses, specializing in iridised glass -their best pieces, like this one, often out did the quality of the Bohemian houses such as Loetz.
