About the Item

A rare pair of antique American cut leaded glass celery vases by C. Doflinger Sons Inc., White Mills, Pennsylvania circa 1868-1875. The celery vases in colorless lead glass; blown and cut, with a cylindrical shape body, scalloped to rim, honeycomb design all over; paneled stem; heavy circular foot with star cut underneath. For an identical model, please see the Corning Museum of Glass, Corning NY, Accession Number81.4.167, gift of June Dorflinger Hardy, in The Jerome and Lucille Strauss Study Gallery.
