Signed Kosta Boda, Vicke Lindstrand art glass bowl. A bowl by famed designer Vicke Lindstrand of Kosta. Lindstrand is one of the leading designers of art glass in the world and especially in Scandinavia. He has worked for many of the great art glass factories in the world, like Orrefors and Kosta Boda. Kosta is referred to as one of the best glass factories in the world and is held on par to Orrefors, Iittala, Nuutajarvi Notsjoe, Tiffany, Steuben, Holmegaard, etc. This bowl has controlled bubbles, Lindstrand's work is found in most museums, collections, and books on art glass. Size 21 cm. x 10 cm. In very good condition. Sweden mid-20th century.
