Two Fantastic Late 19th Century Green Moser Crystal Pillow Vases with Applied Raised Enamel Falcon's, Acorns, and Oak Leaves, Adorned with 24K Gilding. Each vase is of flattened ovoid form with a gorgeous green crystal color. An incredible Falcon flies amongst the skies with applied oak leaves and acorns throughout. Each one is enameled in a variety of colors, silvered, and gilt. Established in 1857, Moser earned a worldwide reputation for high-quality workmanship and artistry, exhibiting at various world expositions and garnering a number of awards, often referred to as "The Glass of Kings," Moser served as the Court Purveyor to Kaiser Franz Joseph I, King Edward VII, and the Shah of Persia. These vases are not only impressive in size, but are of the highest quality in decoration and have the best quality craftsmanship. These two vases are from the Klabin Collection.
