About the Item
This is a good example of an early Victorian English, hand blown, Light green wine drinking glass, with a panel cut bowl dating to circa 1840.
This glass has a round funnel bowl over a solid stem, which sits on a flattened basal knop on a plain foot. The lower half of the bowl has vertical handcut panels. The snapped-off pontil mark to the base, which evidences the hand blowing process, has been mainly ground down

18thC Georgian Wine Drinking Glass OXO Engraved Bowl solid Stem, Circa 1760

This is a very good hand-blown, English, mid-Georgian, Wine drinking glass with a round funnel (RF) engraved bowl on a solid stem, dating to the middle of the 18th century, circa 1760.
These glasses are very collectable. It is made from English lead glass which is relatively heavy and has a soft grey colour.
The RF (round funnel) bowl is well engraved with OXO under rim and a facet cut bowl base, sitting on a a solid stem, over a conical foot with a snapped off pontil below to the underside.
The foot has an under rim edge chip but is otherwise very good with on evidence of restoration.
(NOTE: We do not normally buy Georgian wine glasses...

This is a very good hand-blown, English, Georgian, wine drinking glass with a facet cut stem, dating from the 18th century, circa 1785.
These glasses are very collectable. It is made from English lead glass which is relatively heavy and has a soft grey colour.
The glass has the usual striations, inclusions and tiny bubbles you would expect to see in 18th century glass, which gives these glasses their unique charm.
The glass has a round funnel bowl which sits on a good facet hand cut stem which extend into the base of the bowl, the stem having a central knop. The stem leads to a conical foot having a snapped off pontil mark to the underside, which has been ground smooth. There are no chips, cracks or any evidence of restoration.
