A handsome boxed set of six early 20th-century German steak knives by Anton Wingen Jr., renowned Solingen cutlers celebrated for their fine craftsmanship and decorative blade etching.
Each knife features a hand-forged stainless steel blade (rostfrei) finely etched with hunting scenes of deer and foliage, a motif typical of Solingen’s artistry during the period. The handles are carved from naturally shed stag antler, each uniquely contoured, capped with polished nickel ferrules and pommels.
Presented in its original green reptile-patterned presentation case, lined in satin and velvet, this set exemplifies traditional German design blending luxury and function — perfect for display or service in a refined country home or cabin setting.
