A beautifully preserved three-piece German carving set, likely dating to the mid-20th century, presented in its original green faux snakeskin case lined with ruched emerald satin. This refined set includes a carving knife, two-prong fork, and sharpening steel, each displaying exceptional craftsmanship and striking woodland detail.
The handles are intricately formed to resemble carved stag antler with inset reliefs of leaping deer — a classic motif in Black Forest and German hunting lodge design. The stainless steel knife blade is embellished with a gilt-etched forest scene featuring a stag and evergreen trees, and is marked “Solingen, Germany – stainless”, indicating origin in the renowned European cutlery center of Solinge
