This is an important fine Sèvres porcelain breafast cup and saucer with a footed sugar bowl dating from the mid 19th Century.
The cup saucer & bowl all feature the gilt crowned N cipher with gilt line borders on a white ground and the undersides bearing the red Imperial crowned N Sèvres mark with date letters for 1855 and 1860.
This is sure to be a treasured addition to your home.
Condition:
Both cup saucer and bowl are in very good condition with no signs of damage or restoration and the gilding is crisp.

The plates testify to the enduring influence of 18th Century Sèvres on the tastes of Victorian high society. The designs are far from being mere copies, however; while there are recognisable Sèvres elements, they are arranged in entirely new and delightful ways.
On the rim are four imitation cameo heads of classical deities en grisaille on a red-brown ground, within oval reserves wreathed in laurel. The profiles are individually painted; compare, for instance, the winged helmeted heads of Hermes/Mercury and you will spot subtle differences. The body of each coaster is embellished with fine and impressive cast scrolling fruiting vine decoration extending to the upper shaped rim; this ornamentation includes vines, foliage and grape clusters.
The body of each exceptional coaster is further embellished with three contemporary bright cut engraved crests, each depicting an armoured arm embowed beneath a coronet.
The pair of fine and impressive coasters are set upon an undercarriage which is fitted with impressive cast spoked wheels; the exceptional larger rear wheels indicate the fine quality of this superior example.

This exceptional antique Victorian sterling silver spirit kettle has a melon shaped, incurved paneled form.
Each segment of the paneled body is embellished with impressive alternating flat engraved designs incorporating quatrefoil motifs accented with bordered leaf ornamentation and a trellis pattern, all encompassed with a matte texture.
The upper portion of the body is encircled with a flat engraved undulating border with applied moulded decoration to the scalloped rim.
This antique silver kettle is fitted with a domed hinged hallmarked cover surmounted with the exceptional and original hallmarked sterling silver gourd shaped finial, securing to the interior with a wing nut.
This fine example of Victorian teaware is fitted with an impressive hallmarked sterling silver scrolling handle ornamented with impressive cast S-scroll, leaf decorated terminals accented with large scrolling leaf decorated sockets in junction with the body.
This solid silver kettle has a plain paneled swan necked spout with an impressive scalloped shaped socket accented with a paralleling border.
This exceptional kettle detaches from the original hallmarked cast sterling silver Stand, supported by four impressive cast scrolling legs accented with further applied leaf ornamentation.
The upper portion of the stand is encircled with impressive cast scrolling leaf ornamentation with a central floral design.
The stand incorporates a plain scrolling frame which retains the original spirit burner, reflecting the identical paneled form to the body and cover.
