About the Item

Add character and color to a wet bar or dining display with this charming trio of antique majolica pitchers. Crafted in England circa 1890, each hand-painted jug features a jovial seated figure, one stamped “Sir John Falstaff, Royal Doulton England,” confirming its prestigious origin. The other two barbotine pitchers are executed in the style of Onnaing, each adorned with exuberant glaze colors, sculpted details, and expressive faces. The bodies and handles are richly decorated in bright blue, red, yellow, and green hues, characteristic of late-Victorian majolica artistry. All three pieces are in excellent condition commensurate with age and use, showcasing the whimsical humor and craftsmanship that make English majolica so collectible. Measures: 9.75″ H (largest)
