About the Item
A gorgeous Antique English middle to late 19th century pewter lidded Imari decor Jug or Pitcher. The hand painted decor is similar to those originated by the Derby factory during the George III period, but this is a later "revival" period piece. It still retains its shaped pewter lid and the condition is nearly pristine and age-appropriate. The number on the base is a pattern number but the maker is unknown.
