Circa 1815-30 large "Mason's Patent Ironstone China" pitcher or jug, English. Octagonal; Japan Basket pattern. Well printed painted. Ferocious hydra head handle is exceptional in detail. Black, widely spaced mark. Normal handle rubbing; nick on rim near handle. 7.5" h., 7.5" x 6".
