An exceptional, fine and impressive antique Danish silver water/cordial jug made in the Art Nouveau style; an addition to our range of collectable silverware. This exceptional antique Danish silver jug has a circular rounded form onto a circular spreading foot, all in the Art Nouveau style. The surface of this antique water jug has a subtle planished finish. This impressive piece is fitted with a C-shaped handle, with a bifurcating upper portion and the original carved painted wood hand piece. The spout is embellished with a vase shaped design to the nadir. The underside of the Art Nouveau jug bears the engraved initials 'A.N' and date '1927', in addition to the hallmarks. The hallmarks struck to this silver jug include: Assay mark: Three Tower Mark, 20 (Copenhagen, 1920) Assay Master Mark: CFH (Christian F. Heise) Condition This antique Art Nouveau jug is an exceptional gauge of silver, exceptional quality and in exceptional condition. The jug has been professionally polished and is in presentation condition. Danish hallmarks struck to the underside of the jug are all very clear. A magnificent, fine and impressive set of six antique George III English sterling silver meat skewers or letter openers made by Paul Storr, an addition to our diverse flatware collection. These magnificent antique George IV English sterling silver meat skewers or letter openers has a plain tapered form. This exceptional set is comprised of three pairs of meat skewers, each pair graduating in size. Each skewer is ornamented with the contemporary bright cut engraved crest below a baron's coronet. The terminal of each skewer is embellished with a chased decorated shell design below a reed decorated circular ring loop finger piece. Sets of six graduated antique silver skewers are difficult to locate, especially those by the renowned and important London silversmith Paul Storr. A magnificent, fine and impressive pair of antique Georgian English sterling silver wine coolers made by Paul Storr; an addition to our antique wine and drink related silverware collection These magnificent antique George III sterling silver wine coolers have a classic campania shaped form onto a plain knopped pedestal and domed circular spreading foot. The surface of the upper portion of each body is plain and embellished with two large applied tied oak leaf wreath cartouches, one side bears the contemporary bright cut engraved coat of arms* depicting a pile engrailed with three cross-crosslet fitchy, all surmounted with the crest displaying a cock's head. The second cartouche on each holder bears the contemporary bright cut engraved presentation inscription 'Given to William Rigden, In Remembrance of William Galdork, by W.H.B'. These silver wine bottle holders each have an applied moulded decorated border to the flared rim. The lower bulbous portion of each wine cooler is encompassed with exceptional chased fluted decoration below an applied ribbed border. Each wine cooler is supported by a domed circular spreading foot embellished with a chased egg decorated border and a plain collet style rim.
