About the Item
Italian sterling silver water jug with wooden handle.
The water jug was made in 2 parts, completely by hand starting from a 925 silver sheet and subsequently assembled.
A spiral embossment was then performed on the body of the jug, starting from the base of the jug and, like an enveloping design, ending on the upper part. The "mouth" of the jug was shaped following the spiral and obtaining, always from the sheet, a protrusion acting as a spout to allow the perfect pouring of water.
Important jug that can contain over 2 liters of water.
Sterling silver, as per information found online, is the greatest antibacterial material, therefore the jug has the power to make water pure.
It is recommended to fill the jug and place it in the refrigerator. After 12 hours you can serve and drink very pure water, as if it had just flowed from the source.
