About the Item
A large mid-20th-century boar's head tankard. Date: circa 1960. A large and impressively styled tankard. The tankard has a thermal interior and can be used for mulled wine or any other beverage if desired. The base is removable for easy cleaning. This piece would look great in any hunting-themed room or outdoors. It is in good original condition; the inner stopper is cork.
A rare and impressive Spanish pitcher or jug made from heavy glass and a figural silver-plated collar and hinged lid in the form of a Boar's head retaining its original glass eyes. Valenti of Barcelona made these. You can find the mark on this one by Valenti and dating to c.1960. Excellent condition.
