About the Item
Beautiful antique Murano hand blown large Millefiori Murrina flower mosaic Italian art glass water pitcher and under plate. The set is documented to the Fratelli Toso company, circa 1910-1930. The pitcher is made of bright yellow and white honeycomb murrines, and dark purple with white flower murrines. Great contrasting colors and pattern. The rim of the pitcher has a back trim. The inside of the plate has a satin finish. Would make a great display piece on vanity, curio cabinet or table. Use it to water your plants at home, or as a vase with spring flowers. You will be able to showcase it as a decorative piece in any room. Art Nouveau - Art Deco era. This is a larger than normal set. Pitcher measures 5 1/2" tall x 4 1/2" across the handle x 4" wide. Plate measures 6 3/4" across.

- Condition:Wear consistent with age and use. The bottom of the pitcher has a pontil mark made of little glass dots under the base. This makes the pitcher wobble a bit when first placed on a flat surface. Inherent to the creation process on older antique pieces like this one.
