About the Item
Set of six Murano glass cups and matching carafe. This set is made entirely of hand-blown glass on the island of Murano outside of Venice, Italy. They feature a transparent glass with sky blue stripes. We love the organic shapes and feel of this striking set. The carafe is signed by glass blowing maestro Alberto Dona.

Alberto Donà
Alberto Donà, born in Italy in 1944, began working in the glass field at the age of 13 and became known for his ability with colors and creativity in generating unique combinations, hence his valued collaborations with important companies such as Venini, Saporiti that have relied on Donà for glass accessories. In October 2001, he had a one-man show at the Vassel Art Gallery in London. He was selected to furnish the lighting for the Hiroshima Memorial Museum.
