About the Item
In this listing you will find a ornate ceramic vessel, a type of ewer or lidded jug by Zsolnay. It is characterized by a bulbous body, a single loop handle, and intricate decoration. The piece features vibrant, raised glazes and ornate, relief-molded decoration typical of the style popular in the late 19th century. Made in Hungary in the late 19th Century. Manufacturer's signature could be found on the bottom rim of the jug
The jug has a small dent on the rim, as shown in the last picture. Apart from that it is in good condition. If you wish for it to be fully restored by a professional museum restorer, please de reach out with a request.
