A striking and highly unusual piece of Victorian ceramic art, this antique majolica pitcher is a wonderful example of the Aesthetic Movement. The design features a bold, architectural form with faceted, angular sides that create a dynamic, geometric silhouette. This strong form is softened by a vibrant turquoise glaze on the central band, contrasted with creamy, pale green panels above and below.
