About the Item

Description Handled jug produced by Wilhelm Kralik Sohn, Eleonorenhain, exemplifying the refined Bohemian art glass production of the early 20th century. The jug presents an elegant elongated form with a swollen lower body, executed in richly iridescent art glass displaying deep blue, violet, and green hues with organic, flame-like surface decoration. The glass body is complemented by a metal lid and curved handle, creating a sophisticated contrast between the vibrant glass and the more restrained metallic mount. A highly decorative and collectible object, representative of the technical quality and artistic ambition associated with Bohemian glassworks of this period. Condition The glass is in excellent condition, with no chips, cracks, or restorations. The metal mount shows visible wear to the silvered surface consistent with age and use. The lid hinge is slightly misaligned but remains complete and functional. Overall, the piece presents very well and retains a strong decorative presence.
