About the Item
A high-quality French copper pot with wrought iron handles. It is handcrafted using traditional techniques and made of heavy-gauge copper, which is prized for its excellent heat conduction. The thickness of the copper indicates that this is a professional-grade pot, suitable for use in high-end cooking. There are no stamps to indicate a maker but there is an inverted "V" stamped into the brass close to one of the handles.
The pot is flanked by wrought iron handles, commonly found on vintage and antique French cookware. They are attached with copper rivets, indicating traditional craftsmanship.

About Copper Cookware:
Copper has played an important role in culinary history for centuries. No other metal can be counted on to absorb heat and distribute it as rapidly and evenly as copper. Similarly, when removed from the heat copper responds quickly. As a result of the responsiveness of copper cookware it has been the go-to choice for chefs and cooks all over the world.
