Antique papier-mâché and galleried silver plate serving tray with mother-of-pearl inlay - large size - featuring a hand painted view of The Guildhall, Exeter - silver plate gallery and frame with cast handles - original bun feet - black lacquer to the base - unsigned - United Kingdom - circa 1880. Excellent antique condition - re-varnished tray top - old craquelure and wear to the papier-mâché painting - tarnishing of the silver plate trim - no loss - no damage - signs of age and use. Size/Dimensions - Large - 25 1/4" (64.2 cm.) Wide x 14 1/2" (36.8 cm.) Deep x 2 3/4" (7.0 cm.) High.
