About the Item

Hallmarked in Sheffield in 1897 by Martin Hall this elaborate Victorian antique sterling silver oval tray has a finely pierced gallery with an intricate interlocking design. The centre of the tray is decorated with fine foliate scroll engraving and an oval vacant cartouche. The tray measures 1"(2.5cm) tall, by 13.5"(34cm) from handle to handle and 10.75"(27.5cm) deep, and weighs 27.39 troy ounces.
