About the Item

German Wächtersbach 12 Hunting plates and tureen by Carl Bull, 1910 Beige ceramic set with light blue rims and various relief scenes of wild animals in shades of gray. The set consists of a tureen with lid featuring elk head handles and a branch with a pine cone as a knob on the lid, and 12 plates depicting four different animals, such as rabbits, foxes, stoats, and turkeys. The set is marked by Wächtersbach with the impressed beehive mark and the triangle mark with "REGISTERED / GESCHUETZT / DEPOSE". The triangle mark was in use between approximately 1893 and approximately 1911. Design by Carl Bull (1860-1933). The set shows some very small rim frits. The details can be seen in the photos. The measurements of the plates are 23,8 cm diagonal. The tureen is 14 cm high, 38 cm wide and the depth is 18 cm. The weight is approximately 6 kilos
