This extremely large antique serving tray is unsigned, but presumed to have originated from England and date to approximately 1880 and done in the period Late Victorian style. The tray is composed of paper mache with a polished black lacquer finish with hand-painted gilt decoration around the edges of various flowers, vines, and butterflies and moths.
