About the Item
Edwardian Regency sterling silver tea tray. Made by Thomas Bradbury
Sons Ltd in Sheffield in 1909. Oval well engraved with ribbed border and ribboned garlands. Central oval frame (vacant) surrounded by ribboned pendant flowers and crossed leafing and flowering branches. Sides straight with linear openwork interspersed with vase and patera rondels; rim scalloped and beaded. Cutout lunette end handles. Four supports with linear openwork and garland terminating in volute scroll. Fully marked. Heavy weight: 143 troy ounces.
