About the Item
Finely decorated porcelain saucer, notable for its colorful and intricate hand-painted design. The rim is adorned with a vivid band of cobalt blue, accented with evenly spaced white enamel dots, and edged with delicate gilding.
Just inside this is a striking garland-like motif of tree branches, foliage, and perched birds, painted in a naturalistic palette of green, yellow, lilac, and vibrant reds and blues, creating a lively and elegant border around the plain white well of the saucer.
The saucer rests on a raised circular foot ring and is made of high-quality hard-paste porcelain, showing typical signs of age and use such as minor wear to the gilding and slight surface scratches, yet remains in good decorative condition.
