This is wonderful English Vintage silver plated tastevin, Circa 1950 in date.
A tastevin is a shallow, silver cup used for tasting wine, traditionally carried by sommeliers and winemakers, especially in dark cellars. The name comes from the French for "taste wine," and its design includes indentations that reflect light, allowing the user to judge the wine's color and clarity.
