Co. Limoges Portrait Plate is a rare work, highlighting the workmanship and artistic elegance of the renowned Haviland
Co. Limoges H&Co. from France. Made between 1888 and 1896, this work is a testament to the rich history of Haviland
Co. Limoges porcelain.
The plate features a draped muse on the left side and a cartouche presenting the Queen, Anne of Austria, Queen of France (1601-1666), adorned with jewels and a regal crown. The elaborate gilt-cobalt enameled border adds opulence, framing the central scene with intricate details. The plate is signed lower right by the artist, 'E. Furlaud,' adding to the masterwork.
