About the Item

A fine set of 5 antique Neoclassical German porcelain bowls. By Meissen. Each with hand painted Deutsche Blumen floral sprays to the center with a reticulated rim and gilt accents. With blue underglaze crossed swords factory mark to the base of each. Simply a wonderful set of Meissen porcelain bowls! Date: ca, 1814/1815 Overall Condition: They are in overall good, as-pictured, used estate condition, with some fine light surface scratches and other signs of expected light wear consistent with age. Condition Details: There is some slight rubbing to the gilding and painted decoration here and there. Otherwise, there are some fine light surface scratches and other signs of expected light wear consistent with age. Maker: Meissen Marks: Each marked to the base with a Meissen blue underglaze crossed swords factory mark (1814/15 Kennzeichen von Massen besonderer Zusammensetzung).
