About the Item

A fine set of 6 richly gilt porcelain bullion or tea cups. By Mintons. In an Aesthetic Movement numbered pattern with raised gold and gold jeweling throughout. Each marked to the base with a puce maker's mark that reads 58013 / Manufactured for Caldwell Co. Philadelphia / Mintons / Made in England (one is only marked with a puce Mintons mark). Simply great Aesthetic or Gilded Age design! Date: Late 19th Century Overall Condition: They are in overall good, as-pictured, used estate condition with no chips or repairs. Condition Details: There is crazing to the bases of most of the cups (with one having a few spots of light staining). One cup has a firing flaw in the handle. Otherwise, there are some fine light surface scratches and other signs of expected light wear consistent with age. Maker: Mintons for Caldwell Co. of Philadelphia. Pattern: Pattern no. 58013 Marks: Each marked to the base with a puce maker's mark that reads 58013 / Manufactured for Caldwell Co. Philadelphia / Mintons / Made in England (one of the 12 is only marked with a puce Mintons mark). Measurements: Cups: Width: ca. 4 1/2 in. Depth: ca. 2 7/8 in.
