An Aesthetic Movement Grainger Worcester sucrier with a fitted silver plated swing handle Stand dated 1899. The very finely made porcelain sucrier has a ribbed flower bud shaped body applied with blush pink finish. The container sits neatly within a swing handle silver plated Stand with ornamental ball terminals and stands raised on three ball feet. The Stand comes complete with an unusual and purpose made fitted cover and a small spoon cut-out and the set comes complete with a matched, possibly original, spoon with a perforated bowl. The porcelain container has green printed Grainger Worcester marks to the base and the silver plated Stand has an impressed C J A mark along with an elephant and has a retailers mark for Durran

Antique hand painted and hand decorated small tureen by Haviland in the Fleurs Parisiennes pattern on Cannele blank measures 3.1" and 8.5" with 5.4" opening. The back-marks on the bottom are H&C*/Depose underglaze mark, dating back to 1887, and the circular Haviland Limoges decorator/overglaze mark (mark g, according to Haviland's Collectors International Foundation reference sheet) in brown (color indicates premium decor pieces on Haviland porcelain made in that period), dating back to 1879-1889.
Cannele blank ("fluted"), influenced by traditional Japanese bowl shape called "kaki" or "chrysanthemum", was one of the new blanks created in 1880-1890s by Haviland's artists at the peak of Japonisme movement, after European artists and artisans become exposed to Japanese art. Elegant, festive silver vessel in an oval shape on a stepped base with projecting, pierced rocaille elements, pierced decoration also on the upper rim of the wall with irregular edges, front and back panels surrounded by volutes and rocailles, the narrow sides with towering and intertwined volutes forming two handles, gilded interior.
Matching glass insert with upper edge adapted to the silver vessel, cut stone and fan decoration, lens cut, star base.
