About the Item
A beautiful 13" handpainted tankard pitcher with wonderful red cherries. This great tankard features bunches of red cherries hanging in clusters among the vines and leaves. Wonderful use of highlights, shadowing, and accents. A beautiful border and scrollwork are noted on the tankard rim and top. Detailing of leaves and vines is noted to the tankard base and midway along with the handle. Additional background colors include red, and pink. Yellow, green, and light blue.
This item is from the 1890s, marked on the bottom.
