About the Item
A decorative pair of Chinese porcelain ginger jars, each finished in the traditional Famille Rose palette. Both jars feature finely detailed procession-style genre scenes with figures, rendered in soft yet vibrant enamels and accented by delicate line work.
The larger jar measures approximately 9 inches high x 8.5 inches in diameter. The smaller jar is slightly reduced in scale, but appears almost equal in size...creating a visually pleasing paired presentation ideal for shelving, consoles, or decorative styling.
Chips present, along with minor wear to the decoration and glaze flaws consistent with age and use. The smaller jar’s lid does not sit perfectly, and is possibly a later replacement.
