Antique painted and gilt royal Vienna porcelain plate Austrian, late 19th century Dimensions: Height 2.5cm, diameter 24cm Of circular form, this fine cabinet plate is crafted from Royal Vienna porcelain and decorated with a painted scene. The scene depicts two young women in a pastoral setting, one sitting on a rock and the other standing and holding a bunch of flowers. In the foreground is a crane in the water, at which the two women look. The scene is surrounded by a beautiful green and gilt rim, and is signed 'C. Forster'. The plate is marked to the reverse for Royal Vienna.
