About the Item

Art deco coffee service set ceramic by Carraresi Lucchesi, Italy, 1930s This rare Art Deco ceramic coffee service set was produced in Tuscany, Italy, between 1928 and 1936 by the renowned Carraresi Lucchesi ceramic manufactory. Featuring bold, futurist-inspired lines characteristic of the Art Deco movement, this set embodies the refined craftsmanship and artistic vision of early 20th-century Italian ceramics. History Provenance: The Carraresi Lucchesi manufactory, based in Sesto Fiorentino, was founded by Virgilio Carraresi and Daniele Lucchesi in 1936, continuing the legacy of the earlier "B.M.C." ceramic company. Known for its artistic ceramics, including maiolica and modern earthenware, the company produced distinctive pieces that blended tradition with modernist influences. Due to its historical production methods, some items from this period were left unsigned. Condition Details: Period: Late 1920s – 1930s Materials: Glazed ceramic Origin: Sesto Fiorentino, Tuscany, Italy Condition: Excellent vintage condition with minor signs of aging, consistent with time This elegant and collectible set represents a refined example of Italian Art Deco design, making it a perfect addition for collectors and lovers of historic ceramics.
